Weather Situation
A weak ridge extends across eastern Queensland from a high in the Tasman Sea
connected to a high south of the Great Australian Bight. Meanwhile, a surface
trough and associated dry line lies over the far southwest of the state,
extending into northern New South Wales. From Friday afternoon, a heat low is
forecast to develop within the trough and linger about southwest Queensland
before the trough gradually moves eastwards during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 11 December
Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower near the coast, near zero chance
elsewhere. Winds easterly 20 to 30 km/h. Daytime maximum temperatures 30 to 35.
