Weather Situation
A weak trough persists over northwest of New South Wales with a broad high
pressure ridge across the coast while a cold front brushes the southern coast,
reaching the central coastal fringe during the late evening. A broad low
pressure trough draws significant heat into New South Wales. This trough is
forecast to stall over the state through the coming week, with hot and dry
conditions forecast to persist through Friday.

Clear. Winds south to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h.

Forecast for Monday 26 January
Sunny. Winds southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming southwesterly 15
to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then tending southeast to southwesterly 15
to 20 km/h in the evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 18 and 24
with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 40s.
