Weather Situation
A slow-moving trough lies over the northern inland of the state and will remain
for several days while strengthening. Another trough is forecast to brush the
southern and central parts of the coast today, before stalling about the Sydney
or Hunter coast midweek, then heads south to the Illawarra coast later this
week, while a high pressure system drifts into the Tasman Sea. These systems
will drive moisture into the state's eastern areas and northern inland
throughout the week, bringing wet conditions.

Partly cloudy. Winds northeast to southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h.

Forecast for Wednesday 10 December
Partly cloudy. Medium chance of showers in the late afternoon and evening. The
chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Winds northwest to northeasterly 15
to 20 km/h tending northwest to southwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of
the day then tending east to southeasterly in the evening. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 9 and 12 with daytime temperatures reaching 27
to 34.
