Deadly Earthquake Hits Afghanistan

   An earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan early Wednesday, killing at
   least 130 people.

   Officials said the magnitude 6.1 quake hit Paktika province and
   destroyed dozens of homes.

   The earthquake was also felt in parts of neighboring Pakistan.
