   flooding caused by heavy rains prompted mass evacuations, impacting
   more than120,000 people.

   The AcreRiver in the state capital,Rio Branco,has been well above flood
   stage in recent days, with many streets underwater.

   Brazil PresidentJair Bolsonarovisited the region Sunday andis expected
   tosurveythe capital of Acre on Wednesday, where thousands
   ofresidentswere forced to leave their homesbecause of theflooding.

   Governor Gladson Cameli saidthe flooding in Acre is among the latest
   crisis facing thetheimpoverished state bordering Peru,where
   mostlyHaitian migrants are being deniedentryinto the country from Peru
