   The number of worldwide COVID-19 cases continues to climb. According to
   Johns Hopkins University, there are more that 8.5 million infections
   worldwide.

   The U.S. leads the world in infections with more than two million
   cases, Brazil is next with more than 978,000 and Russia comes in third
   with more 568,000.
