   WASHINGTON - At ageseven, Julia Young saw a poster ofMalcolm X in a
   grocery store. She thoughtthe black nationalist advocate was somehow
   related toher dad, since his first nameis also Malcolm. No matter that
   theirskin,agesand background were different. She would come to learn
   that they did have somethingin common--bothfought forcivil andhuman
   rights.
   Julia's upbringing set her on a path to advocacy that endures to this
   day with her father, now 73,at her side.
