Al-Shabab Attacks Base Used by US, Kenyan Military Teams

   NAIROBI - Somali militant group al-Shabab says it attacked a military
   base used by U.S. and Kenyan military teams Sunday.

   The U.S. military's Africa Command said initial reports reflected
   damage to equipment and infrastructure, and the situation remains
   tense.
