Rockets Fall on Baghdad Airport, Security Unit Says

   BAGHDAD - Three Katyusha rockets fell onBaghdad International Airport,
   the Iraqi military-run SecurityMedia Cell said early Friday.

   The Shiite Popular Mobilization Forces said in a post onFacebook that
   theirdirector of public relationshad beenkilled inwhat theydescribed
   asa"cowardly U.S. bombing."

   The rockets landed near the air cargo terminal, burning twovehicles and
   injuring several people, Security Media Cell saidin astatement.Police
   and medical sources, however, said atleast one person was killed and
   nine were wounded.

   There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

   Supporters of Iranian-backed Iraqi paramilitary groupsstormed the U.S.
   Embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday following U.S.air raids on Sunday
   againstKataebHezbollah militia bases inretaliation for missile attacks
   that killed a U.S. contractor innorthern Iraq last week.

   Tension between the United States and Iran has ramped up inthe region
   over U.S. economic sanctions hurting the Iranianeconomy. The two sides
   have traded blame over attacks on oilinstallations, militia arms depots
   andmilitary baseshosting U.S. forces.
