Europe Faces Fresh Produce Scarcity

   Picture a traditional English summer.For many,Wimbledonand strawberries
   cometomind.

   Since 1877,the lawn tennis tournament at Wimbledon, a suburb of London,
   has been a fixture inBritain'ssocial calendarand one of theworld's
   great sporting events.

   Tennis fans and celebrities, as well as the country's royals, throng
   thestandsin June and Julyand invariably devour the juicy strawberries
   as they watch the action unfold.

   Not this year.

   Because ofthecoronavirus, Wimbledon has been canceled. But it isnotonly
   tennis thatBritainwill miss.Strawberries, too,are likely to be scarce,
   as wellas other fresh produce.
