House Democrats Subpoena Trump Lawyer for Documents in Impeachment Inquiry VOA News Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives have subpoenaed U.S. President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani for documents related to Ukraine as they continue their impeachment inquiry against the president. The House Intelligence, Foreign Affairs and Oversight and Reform panels announced the subpoena Monday, also requesting information from three of Giuliani's associates. Earlier Monday, in a series of Twitter posts Trump lashed out at Democrats who have initiated the impeachment inquiry over a whistleblower complaint, and focused much of his ire at House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff. .
