Teenage Climate Change Activist Thundberg Named Time's Person of the Year

   Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg has been named Time
   magazine's Person of the Year for 2019.

   Editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal made the announcement Wednesday
   during an appearance on NBC's Today show.

   "She became the biggest voice on the biggest issue facing the planet
   this year, coming from essentially nowhere to lead a worldwide
   movement," Felsenthal said.
