78 Students, Principal Kidnapped in Cameroon

   Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped 78 students and the principal of a
   Presbyterian school in northwestern Cameroon.

   Governor Deben Tchoffo has confirmed the kidnapping in the village of
   Nkwen in Bamenda, capital of the restive English-speaking region of the
   country.

   It is not clear who carried out the kidnappings, or why.
