Reports: Russian Airliner Crashes Near Moscow by VOA News A Russian passenger plane carrying 71 people has crashed near Moscow, state media reported Sunday. Interfax news agency reported that there was "no chance of survivors," citing emergency services. The seven-year-old plane disappeared from the radar just minutes after departing Domodedovo, flight-tracking site FlightRadar24 reported. The An-148 regional jet, operated by Saratov Airlines, was traveling from the capital city's second largest airport, Domodedovo, to the city of Orsk when it reportedly crashed near Argunovo, about 80 kilometers southeast of Moscow. Sixty-five passengers and six crew members were on board.
