2 Killed in US Train Wreck

   Officials say an Amtrak passenger train collided with a freight train
   early Sunday in the southern U.S. state of South Carolina, killing two
   people and injuring at least 70.

   Authorities say the Amtrak train was traveling between New York and
   Miami when it struck the other train and derailed near Columbia, South
   Carolina.

   Amtrak officials say its train was carrying 139 passengers and eight
   crew members.

   A passenger on the train told CNN all the train's passengers have been
   removed.
