Kabul Suicide Bomber Kills 4 in Attack on Military Convoy by VOA News A suicide bomber in Afghanistan killed at least four people Thursday night in an attack on a convoy of foreign troops in Kabul. Adding to initial reports that three Afghan civilians were killed, U.S. officials said one soldier from NATO's Resolute Support mission was among the dead The convoy that came under attack was made up of both Afghan and NATO troops. The military statement indicated the assailant detonated a suicide vest he was wearing. Five NATO troops and one Afghan interpreter were wounded by the explosion and were taken to the U.S. military hospital at Bagram Airfield, outside the Afghan capital, where they were reported in stable condition. None of the victims of Thursday's incident were identified. Just one day earlier, two U.S. soldiers were killed and four were wounded when their NATO convoy was attacked in Afghanistan's troubled Kandahar province.
