3 Earthquakes Hit Philippines, No Serious Damage

   Three earthquakes, ranging in magnitude from 5.0 to 5.9, hit a
   Philippine coastal region Saturday near Manila, the capital.

   All three happened within a 30-minute timeframe.

   There were no immediate reports of injuries or serious damage, although
   people were seen running in fear from office buildings into the
   streets.
