                      Obama Leaves Saturday for Asia Trip

   U.S. President Barack Obama leaves Saturday for a weeklong, two-nation
   Asia visit, including a stop at Hiroshima, Japan, site of the world's
   first nuclear attack.

   Obama will visit Vietnam and Japan from May 21-28 on what will be his
   10th trip to Asia.

   A [1]White House statement said the trip will highlight Obama's ongoing
   commitment to the U.S. Rebalance to Asia and the Pacific, and is
   designed to increase U.S. diplomatic, economic and security engagement
   with the countries and peoples of the region.

   May 21: Obama leaves Washington Saturday afternoon to begin his trip.

   May 23-24: He arrives in Hanoi Monday, where he will hold official
   meetings with Vietnam's leadership. Economic and security issues are
   expected to be high on the agenda. In Hanoi, Obama will deliver a
   speech on U.S.-Vietnam relations.

   During meetings and events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the president
   will discuss the importance of approving the Trans-Pacific Partnership
   this year.

   May 25: Obama leaves for Japan.

   May 26-27: Obama will participate in his final G-7 Summit in Ise-Shima,
   Japan.

   May 27: Obama will make a historic visit to Hiroshima with Japan Prime
   Minister Shinzo Abe.
