Former First Lady Nancy Reagan to Be Laid to Rest by VOA News Political figures, journalists, and entertainers are gathering Friday in Simi Valley, California to say goodbye to Nancy Reagan, steadfast partner of the late President Ronald Reagan. Nancy Reagan died Sunday at age 94. Guests include first lady Michelle Obama; former President and first lady George W. and Laura Bush; former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger; a long list of journalists who covered the Reagans, and a number of Hollywood actors. Four of the five living first ladies -- Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Rosalynn Carter, wife of former President Jimmy Carter -- will be at the service. Country honors Reagan U.S. government flags, which were lowered to half-staff at news of Reagan's death Sunday, will remain lowered until sunset on Friday, in a show of respect for the former first lady. She will be buried beside her husband at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
