                    Multiple Explosions Hit Kabul Outskirts

   At least 27 police cadets have been killed in attacks on several buses
   outside the Afghan capital of Kabul Thursday.

   The Taliban has claimed responsibility for two suicide attacks, saying
   that it inflicted heavy casualties.

   At least 40 people were injured in the attacks.

   Local media reports say suicide bombers attacked a convoy of buses
   carrying recently graduated cadets on their way to the capital from the
   neighboring Wardak province.

   In April, 64 people were killed in a Taliban bombing on a security
   service facility in Kabul, the deadliest attack of its kind Afghanistan
   had seen since 2011.
