         At Least 2 Killed in Bombings at Shi'ite Shrine Near Damascus

   Two blasts near a Shi'ite shrine in a suburb of the Syrian capital have
   killed at least two people and left many others wounded.

   Syrian state media say a suicide bomber and a car bomb struck Saturday
   at the Sayyida Zeinab shrine just outside Damascus. The shrine is
   important to Shi'ites throughout the world.

   There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks,
   which took place in an area where several other bombings have taken
   place in the past, often claimed by Islamic State militants.
