                Gunmen Kill 3 in Attack in Tel Aviv Marketplace

   At least two gunmen opened fire on shoppers and diners in a marketplace
   Wednesday night near the Israeli Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv, killing
   three and wounding at least six.

   Israeli police are already calling it a terrorist attack and are
   combing the area for possible planted bombs.

   Police say two gunmen were "neutralized" with one shot.

   Wednesday's attack was carried out at the Sarona marketplace in central
   Tel Aviv, a popular gathering place for shopping and restaurants.

   There has been no claim of responsibility.

   Israel has seen a relative lull in nine months of Palestinian attacks
   on Israeli civilians and police, sparked by rumors Israel was planning
   to take over an east Jerusalem religious site sacred to Muslims and
   Jews.
