                Bomb, Shooting Attack Rips Mogadishu Restaurant

   Witnesses say a car bomb exploded Thursday at a popular beach-side
   restaurant in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

   Gunmen reportedly stormed the restaurant and opened fire after the
   explosion.

   The attack occurred in the capital's Lido beach area.

   There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but militant group
   Al-Shabab has carried similar bomb-and-shooting attacks in the past.
