                  Senate to Question Kerry on Syria Peace Plan

   U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is expected to face questions
   Tuesday about a Syrian cease-fire plan as he appears before the Senate
   Foreign Relations Committee.

   On Monday, the U.S. and Russia jointly announced an agreement for a
   cessation of hostilities that would involve all willing parties in the
   Syrian conflict except Islamic State and al-Qaida-linked terror
   groups.The deal would go into effect on Saturday.

   At Tuesday's [1]hearing, Kerry will also discuss the State Department's
   budget request for next year.
