The attack, late Monday, targeted a military outpost in the Hani district of Diyarbakir province. A nearby building housing family members of the military personnel was also damaged in the blast. Turkish authorities have blamed the bombing on the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Thousands of militant and hundreds of civilians and soldiers have been killed in the largely Kurdish southeast since a PKK cease-fire and peace process collapsed in July 2015. The PKK is designated a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and European Union. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/turkey-kurds-pkk/3281196.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/turkey-kurds-pkk/3281196.html
