Bexar County sheriff and San Antonio police responded to reports of a shooter shortly before 9 a.m. Friday. Sheriff spokesman James Keith said two bodies were found inside a room in a building at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland. ''Keith said the shooter is believed to be among the two dead. However, sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement officers are continuing to search the building and nearby facilities. The base was reportedly on lockdown. Lackland is a key training installation for the U.S. Air Force.
