      Fears of 'Nightmare' Scenario in Syria Follow Downing of Russian Jet

   Developments in the skies over the Turkish-Syrian border are putting
   world leaders on notice that the conflict there threatens to spiral out
   of control. And while a possible 'nightmare scenario' of an even wider
   conflict seems far from playing out, the possibility may be creeping
   ever closer. VOA National Security Correspondent Jeff Seldin has more.
