          On the Scene: Islamic State Fighters Move on Syrian Village

   Islamic State militants have launched a a major offensive on Ras
   al-Ayn, in northeast Syria. Kurdish fighters in the town, known as
   Serekaniye to its mainly Kurdish residents, and outlying villages are
   trying to hold them off. With narration by Robert Raffaele, the VOA
   Kurdish service's Zana Omer reports.
