  A 'Whirring Darvish' and Orbiting Bust of Dictator at NYC's Armory Art Showb

   Art from the Middle East, North Africa and the Mediterranean was the
   regional 'Focus' at this year's Armory Art Show, New York's oldest and
   largest contemporary art fair. Paintings, sculpture, video and
   conceptual pieces by artists with roots in Egypt, Iran, Lebanon, Syria
   and other Middle Eastern countries were on display and for sale. Two
   works with a whimsical tilt caught the eye of VOA reporter Carolyn
   Weaver.
