African-Americans Seek Economic Opportunities in Selma by Chris Simkins Thousands of people are gathering in Selma, Alabama Saturday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of a historic voting rights march. VOA's Chris Simkins reports from Alabama that decades after civil rights battles in Selma and surrounding communities the focus has shifted to economic priorities. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/media/video/african-americans-seek-economic-o pportunities-in-selma/2671428.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/media/video/african-americans-seek-economic-opportunities-in-selma/2671428.html
