                Bomb Threat Evacuates White House Briefing Room

   Agents from the United States Secret Service cleared reporters from the
   White House briefing room Tuesday afternoon following a bomb threat.

   The room was evacuated during a briefing with White House spokesman
   Josh Earnest.

   A Secret Service sniffer dog was deployed to check out the area.  A
   short time later, reporters returned to the area where the briefing
   resumed.


   Earlier, a hearing of the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) on
   Capitol Hill was evacuated over a bomb threat.

   Capitol police cleared several floors at the Dirksen Senate office
   building but found no hazardous materials.

   Lawmakers were questioning TSA and Homeland Security officials
   following recent troubles at the TSA.
