            Fractured Bones Heal With Customized Biodegradable Parts

   Mending a broken bone can sometimes cause as much problems as the
   broken bone itself. Hardware used to fix the bone is either left in the
   body or removed, sometimes presenting new medical problems. But another
   option under development employs biodegradable materials to do the same
   repair job. VOA's Rosanne Skirble reports.
