OSCE Condemns Attack on Journalists in Kosovo by VOA News The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe called Monday for a quick and thorough investigation of an attack on journalists covering demonstrations in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. Speaking Monday in Vienna, OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja MijatoviÄ said any violence against journalists is unacceptable and should be treated as "an attack against society as a whole." She said the perpetrators must be brought to justice. Reporter Aleksandra Jovanovic and cameraman Bojan KoÅ¡anin, both from Radio Television of Kosovo, and reporter Vladimir Milic from Radio Television of Serbia, were attacked and harassed by unknown individuals while covering protests January 24 in Pristina, the OSCE said in a statement. Local media reported that the assailants attacked the journalists with sticks and stones and tried to steal their equipment.
