          Europe Discusses Freedom of Speech Amid Cartoon Controversy

   As France and Israel buried the victims of last week's terrorist
   attacks in Paris, European political leaders and the general public
   began discussions on what differentiates freedom of speech from hate
   speech. Islam is the second largest religion in France, and Muslim
   populations are growing in other European countries, creating fear of
   possible constraints on traditionally Western values. Zlatica Hoke has
