            Obama: Strong US-Japan Alliance Not Provocation to China

   President Barack Obama says a strong alliance between the United States
   and Japan should not be seen by China as a provocation. Obama made the
   comment as he welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for a state
   visit during which the two leaders discussed bolstering security and
   economic ties. VOA correspondent Aru Pande has more from the White
   House.
