                   Spanish Diplomat Dies in Khartoum Stabbing

   A Spanish diplomat was found dead with stab wounds in his home in
   Sudan's capital Khartoum on Monday.

   According to a police statement, the 61-year-old official headed the
   Spanish embassy's visa section and had worked in the country for three
   years.

   Officials from Spain's Foreign Ministry have confirmed the diplomat's
   death. The police investigation is ongoing.
