                Suicide Bombing on NATO Convoy in Kabul Kills 1

   Officials in Afghanistan say a suicide car bomber has struck a NATO
   convoy in the capital, Kabul, killing at least one person.

   The attack took place Monday morning near a housing compound for NATO
   contractors on the main road leading to Jalalabad.

   The Taliban quickly claimed responsibility for the deadly bombing.

   The identity of the person killed has not been released.
