Many people were wounded in the blasts Sunday near key government buildings. Elsewhere, officials say a roadside bomb has killed the police chief of troubled Anbar province. The attack took place near Ramadi, west of the capital. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks, which came a day after Iraqi police said a suicide bomber detonated his explosives at a market north of Baghdad, killing at least seven people and wounding about 20 others. Saturday's attack took place near the town of Meshahda, an area that has been the scene of clashes between Iraqi forces and Islamic State fighter, who have taken control of large sections of northern and western Iraq.
