France's Bianchi Seriously Injured in Japan F1 Race by VOA Sports A French Formula One driver is fighting for his life after crashing on a rain-slicked racetrack in Japan. Jules Bianchi lost control of his car on the wet track in Suzuka, Japan, after rain delayed the race start, hitting a tractor that was removing a disable vehicle. Formula One's governing International Motoring Federation (FIA) said Bianchi was rushed to the hospital for immediate surgery after suffering a "severe head injury." The crash overshadowed a victory by Lewis Hamilton, who won the Japanese Grand Prix when race officials cut the race short after Bianchi's crash. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/bianchi-seriously-wounded-in-japan-f1 -race/2473304.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/bianchi-seriously-wounded-in-japan-f1-race/2473304.html
