                    Jerusalem Synagogue Attack Leaves 4 Dead

   Israeli police say two people believed to Palestinians have attacked a
   synagogue in Jerusalem, killing at least four worshippers and wounding
   six others.

   Police spokeswoman Luba Samri said the assailants were armed with axes
   and guns as they attacked during morning prayers Tuesday in the Har Nof
   area of the city.

   Samri called the suspects "terrorists" and said they were shot dead by
   police.

   The attack is the latest incident in an increase in violence in
   Jerusalem and the West Bank during the past month.
