      CN-Experts: Military Strikes Against Taliban Not End to Peace Talks

   The Pakistani government is taking a more proactive attitude toward
   Islamist militants after peace talks between the two sides failed to
   produce any meaningful results. VOA's Kokab Farshori reports that
   although the government has not given up on peace talks with the
   Pakistani Taliban, it has decided not to wait until the militants
   strike before attacking them.
