Deadly Attack in Djibouti by VOA News Officials in Djibouti say two explosions have killed at least two people at a restaurant frequented by Westerners in the country's capital. Few details were immediately confirmed. Police described a grenade attack while the country's Interior Ministry said it was carried out by suicide bombers. Several people were also wounded in the Saturday attack at a downtown restaurant named Chaumiere. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. Djibouti hosts French and U.S. military bases and has contributed troops to the African Union force fighting al-Shabab in neighboring Somalia.
