                          Kerry, Abbas Meet in London

   U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met Wednesday with Palestinian
   President Mahmoud Abbas in London to discuss the stalled Mideast peace
   process.
   The two met for "informal" talks at an upscale hotel, according to U.S.
   officials, in their first face-to-face meeting since Kerry's failed
   attempt to broker an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal last month.
