           CN-Obama: Honored Afghan War Vet Embodies 9-11 Generation

   The United States has recognized another veteran of the war in
   Afghanistan for heroism. U.S. President Barack Obama Tuesday awarded
   the Medal of Honor to former Army Sergeant Kyle White for his actions
   during an ambush in Nuristan province. But as VOA's Jeff Seldin
   reports, his friends say the honor is well deserved, although White
   refuses to see himself as a hero.
