               CN-Hong Kong Activists Push for More Voting Rights

   Hong Kong's election for its next chief executive is not until 2017,
   but the debate is already heating up over how much power will be
   wielded by voters. Beijing backs a plan for a 'nominating committee' to
   determine which candidates are eligible to run. But one group is
   pushing to give the public the ability to pick their own candidates.
