                     Eleven Killed in Pakistan Court Attack

   Pakistan police said a gun and suicide bomb attack Monday on a court in
   the capital has killed 11 people, including a judge and several
   attorneys.
   Police said an additional 35 people, mostly young attorneys, were
   wounded in the attack Monday in Islamabad, calling it a
   "well-coordinated incident of terrorism." They said an initial probe
   into the assault suggests at least two men lobbed hand grenades into a
   courtroom crowd and then sprayed the room with bullets before blowing
   themselves up.
   Meanwhile, in northwest Pakistan, a blast killed two soldiers and
   wounded four in the Sadokhel area of the restive Khyber tribal region.
   The attacks came two days after the Pakistani Taliban announced that it
   would observe a one-month cease-fire to allow peace talks with the
   government to resume.
   There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attacks.
   The violence comes hours after the Pakistani government announced it
   was ending its bombing campaign against suspected hideouts of the
   militants in northwest of the country in response to declaration of a
   unilateral ceasefire by the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP. The
   outlawed TTP, a loose alliance of Islamist outfits, is waging a bloody
   insurgency in Pakistan that has killed thousands of people. The promise
   of cessation of hostilities from both sides had raised hopes peace
   talks between the government and the TTP could resume.
