              Obama Announces Initiative to Protect Pacific Ocean

   President Barack Obama has announced a new initiative to protect parts
   of the Pacific Ocean from overfishing and environmental damage. He
   announced his plan in a video message to an international conference on
   the oceans at the U.S. State Department. Zlatica Hoke has more.
