                          Three Die in Sri Lanka Clash

   Authorities in southern Sri Lanka say three people have died in clashes
   between Buddhists and Muslims.

   Police say dozens of people were injured in a brawl that broke out
   Sunday night.

   A Sri Lankan newspaper says the violence erupted in the town of
   Alutgama following a speech by the chief monk of Bodu Bala Sena, an
   extremist Buddhist group.

   BBS has been engaged in an anti-Muslim campaign in recent years.
