                  CN-More Children Getting Diabetes Worldwide

   For years, doctors around the world have been talking about a diabetes
   epidemic among children. But in the United States, there were no hard
   numbers to show just how many youngsters are being affected or how fast
   the epidemic is spreading. U.S. health agencies have now funded studies
   that looked at millions of children. VOA's Carol Pearson says the
   results are worrisome, and not just for children in America.
