                            Bombings in Iraq Kill 6

   Iraqi authorities say mortar bombs killed six people Saturday in a
   Shi`ite Muslim village near the city of Baquba.
   The victims include five members of the same family, with a woman and a
   young boy among the dead.
   There has been no claim of responsibility for the bombings.
   The deadly attack northeast of the capital, Baghdad, is the latest
   incident of increased violence in recent months in Iraq.
   Several hundred people have been killed this month alone, mainly in
   clashes between Sunni and Shi`ite Muslims.
